Description
The Trane SWT0473 is a secondary high safety limit switch which is a must-have safety device in Trane HVAC equipment. It’s a last line of defense against overheating, shutting the system off if temperatures get too high. This automatic reset switch monitors the system’s temperature. The SWT0473 will interrupt the electrical circuit if it rises above the adjusting safety threshold from 130°F to 300°F, stopping the equipment and preventing damage from occurring. When the temperature cools down, the switch automatically resets, and the system starts again.
