Description
The Trane BND0031 Motor Mount Band is a metallic strap that secures a motor to HVAC equipment. It usually cradles the motor and mounts to the device chassis at mounting locations. Stabilization of the motor lessens vibrations and noise that are inherent in operation. This reduces vibration and therefore the wear and tear on the motor and surrounding parts which in turn increases motor and surrounding parts longevity. In addition, a protected motor ensures the entire HVAC system runs more smoothly and quietly.
