Original price was: $1,243.28.Current price is: $310.82.

Description

The Armstrong International 175A6 is a Series A Cast Iron Float & Thermostatic (F&T) Steam Trap engineered for dependable condensate drainage and air venting in commercial and industrial steam systems. With a standard 1-1/2″ NPT connection and a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI, this trap is built to handle demanding steam distribution applications with consistent, efficient performance.

The integrated thermostatic air vent allows non-condensable gases and air to be purged automatically, promoting faster system warm-up and preventing air binding. The 13/64″ orifice is precision-sized to deliver optimal condensate discharge rates while maintaining steam seal integrity under varying load conditions.

Constructed from durable cast iron, the Series A body provides long service life in harsh steam environments. The float mechanism responds continuously to condensate levels, enabling modulating discharge that prevents steam loss and reduces energy waste — making it an ideal choice for heat exchangers, unit heaters, coils, and similar steam-heated equipment.
