Description
The Trane SEN1789 is a photoelectric smoke sensor designed to protect your house or place of business. Unlike other ionization smoke sensors that are sometimes triggered by harmless cooking smoke, the SEN1789 employs a photoelectric chamber. There is a photocell and a light beam applied in this chamber. Smoke particles moving through the chamber scatter a light beam thereby triggering the alarm. By this technique, the actual fires can be identified more effectively. Its automatic alarm system and photoelectric technology are used to detect smoke early so that you can leave in time for the event.
