Description
The Trane SHE5385 is a 0.875″ bore variable pitch sheave for use in Trane HVAC systems with variable speed drives. When used in pairs with belts, sheaves are grooved wheels that transfer power between a motor and another rotating component. The variable pitch design alters the position of the lines to modify the speed ratio between the driven and motor circuits. This allows for accurate adjustment of system performance and airflow in variable-speed applications such as air conditioning and ventilation.
