Description
The Weil McLain 511-330-242 Pilot Assembly is a gas ignition component that is installed in boiler HVAC systems to create and sustain a steady pilot flame to operate the burner. It is a regulated supply of natural gas to the pilot burner, the flame of which in heating cycles acts as the source of ignition in the main burner. Fitted in gas-fired boilers, the pilot assembly is used together with thermocouples or flame sensors and control valves. To provide safe ignition sequencing and reliable combustion when the heating is operating normally in HVAC systems.
